Every trip runs on these safety essentials.

No smoking, alcohol, or drugs icon

No drug or alcohol use during or before any Day Trip or Glow Trip.

No smoking, alcohol, or drugs icon

No smoking inside any Destin Kayak Rentals or Glow Trip Kayak equipment.

Follow all instructions given by DKR and GTK personnel at all times.

Whistle required icon

No shoes may be worn during any Day Trip or Glow Trip inside the Clear Kayaks.

Float Plan required icon

Follow the group Float Plan at all times, stay with the group.

DKR and GTK personnel can cancel any Day Trip or Glow Trip for unsafe actions, violating the alcohol or drug policy, or failure to follow the designated Float Plan or verbal directions.

If the trip is cancelled for policy violations, everyone on the trip must return to the launch site immediately.

Cancellation Policy

If your Day Trip or Glow Trip is cancelled by Destin Kayak Rentals due to unsafe weather conditions you will:

  1. 1Be rescheduled to next available time slot.
  2. 2Be offered a gift card for your next visit to the area.
  3. 3Receive a full refund less the 5% Credit Card processing fee and a $25 admin fee.
A guest can cancel up to 30 days before their reservation. After that no refund will be given if the guest cancels their Rental, Day Trip, or Glow Trip reservation.
No refund if your party decides that you need fewer kayaks than you initially reserved as we were unable to book them with other guests due to your reservation.
